How to use a Fence Mesh Chicken Wire Mesh

Fencing your chickens in has never been more straightforward – fence mesh chicken wire mesh is the ultimate solution. With its strong and sturdy wire framework, woven into a fine-mesh, it can easily be fastened to posts or other forms of support to create a robust and secure barrier for your precious poultry.

If you’re planning to make a fence, you have the option of purchasing wire mesh in a range of strengths. It’s true that chain link fences may be stronger than those made with chicken wire mesh, but they also come at a higher price – so it’s worth considering the latter for its affordability.

When designing a fence using chicken wire mesh, the utmost importance must be placed on creating a structure that fits snugly around the posts. If any spaces remain, poultry can easily make their way through the enclosures.

The fence should be securely buried down to a depth of six inches. Doing so will help to restrict any escape-savvy chickens from scratching their way out.

After setting up the fence enclosure, it is essential to create an entrance for the chickens. A simple flap, equipped with pivots on the top and bottom, can be employed to serve as a door system tailored to your poultry. This allows your birds to roam freely in and out of the area.

Provide your feathered friends with the ability to traverse their coop without difficulty by installing a door of adequate size. A ramp can also be incorporated to make passage more effortless.

When it comes to protecting your poultry, a fence mesh chicken wire is the perfect choice – available at most hardware stores for an affordable price, and easy to set up. Keep your chickens safe and contained with chicken wire mesh!
